We have created a simple outline for you to get the most out of your Equal-i-zer® hitch for years to come.

1. Proper Installation and Weight Distribution:

If there has been any change involving the tow vehicle or trailer, make the needed adjustments to achieve maximum weight distribution.

2. L-brackets:

Ensure that no brake, electrical or gas lines are pinched and that the brackets are positioned between 27”-32”.

3. Angle Set Bolt:

Ensure that it is tightened firmly against the shank.

4. Lubricate the Hitch:

Place a small amount of Equal-i-zer High Performance Lubricant on the hitch sockets for superior performance.

5. Cosmetic Care:

Replace worn or faded stickers and apply a high-quality spray paint to the spring arms.
