American manufacturer Equal-i-zer, the innovator in sway-control technology, received the Readers’ Choice Award by Trailer Life Magazine again this year. This marks the fourth consecutive year that Equal-i-zer has won the award. No other hitch has ever received this recognition.

RVers have a passion for sharing the experience and wisdom they have gained over years of trying different products and traveling all over the country. In 2012, Trailer Life Magazine came up with a way to capitalize on their readers’ collective RV intelligence and share it with RV owners all over the world. Each year they conduct an online poll to find out which vehicles, destinations and products make life on the road easier and more enjoyable for RVers. One of the categories surveyed is trailer hitches, and year-after-year the Equal-i-zer hitch has come out on top.

According to Sue Seidlitz with Trailer Life, there were over 9,000 voters weighing-in on all things related to trailers, campgrounds, hitches and trailer accessories. The survey was conducted online and allowed thousands of readers to choose from over a hundred brands, voting for their top picks in more than 20 categories. Other notable companies receiving Gold awards include favorites like Ford, Keystone, Cracker Barrel, DirecTV and Camping World.
